Have you ever had one of those weeks where nothing goes your way?
No matter what you do, something breaks, a sale falls through, you keep getting an error message — whatever it is, you keep running into road blocks that stunt your progress.
This can drive you crazy, make you angry, or even worse, cause you to give up altogether.
I’ve been running into this lately. I can’t quite bring a few items to complete closure, or they are taking much longer than I anticipated.
Of course, I get aggravated and moody.
But then I kept seeing similar messages everywhere along the lines of this:
Whether you are trying to close a sale, establish a new relationship, start a business, or make a big purchase — whatever it is, expect it to be hard.
When you embrace this mindset and actually seek discomfort, that is when you grow.
A lot of people want a handout or expect everything to go their way without enduring challenges. As soon as they get a little pushback, they fold.
But without challenges, there is no growth.
You grow by doing, by taking action, and by learning from your mistakes or experiences.
If you can stay consistent with this and actually embrace the challenges like the sick bastard that you are, you are destined for success.
Remember that pressure is a privilege.
When you accept that life is hard and that there will be many challenges along the way, your life gets a little bit easier.
